Medical Receptionist

Front Desk Medical Receptionist Join our busy, patient-focused dermatology practice! We're looking for a friendly, organized, and dependable Front Desk Medical Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our patients and help keep our office running smoothly.

Position Responsibilities:

Greet patients and visitors in a professional, welcoming manner Check patients in and out for appointments Answer multi-line phones and direct calls appropriately Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments Verify insurance information and update patient demographics Collect copays, balances, and process payments Scan and upload documents into electronic medical records Maintain accurate patient records and assist with office paperwork Communicate with providers and clinical staff regarding scheduling or patient needs Ensure waiting area and front office remain organized and presentable Assist with prior authorizations, referrals, and other administrative duties as needed

Qualifications:

Previous medical office or receptionist experience preferred Dermatology experience is a plus Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Familiarity with electronic medical records and basic computer systems Professional appearance and positive attitude Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
