Job Description

the patient's Job Summary Looking for a dedicated and organized Medical Receptionist/Back office to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of patient care and medical office operations. This role is crucial for ensuring smooth patient flow and providing excellent service to patients in a fast-paced environment Duties Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Manage patient check-in and check-out processes efficiently. Schedule appointments and manage the clinic's calendar. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality. Assist with insurance verification and billing inquiries. Answer phone calls promptly, addressing patient inquiries or directing them to the appropriate staff. Collaborate with healthcare providers to facilitate effective patient care. Provide information regarding services, procedures, and policies to patients. Support administrative tasks as needed, including filing and data entry. Take the patient's vitals Complete patient assessment and intake in the back office Take dictation and note Requirements Previous experience in Medical office setting or Pre-Med college graduates Knowledge of medical terminology, particularly related to physiology, geriatrics, emergency medicine, and inpatient care. Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals. Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other office software. Ability to handle sensitive situations with compassion and professionalism. Familiarity with urgent care protocols and procedures is a plus. Must be detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
