Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and friendly Dental Office Receptionist to join our vibrant dental practice. In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, ensuring a warm, professional, and efficient experience from the moment they walk through the door. Your energetic approach will help streamline daily operations, manage patient interactions, and support the overall success of our clinic. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and possesses excellent communication skills to handle a variety of administrative tasks with enthusiasm and precision. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out Verify insurance coverage, perform insurance eligibility checks, and process claims Schedule appointments efficiently while managing multi-line phone systems with professionalism and courtesy. Collect patient information accurately, review documentation for completeness, and update medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Maintain organized filing systems for dental charts, ensuring confidentiality at all times Experience Prior experience working in a dental clinic or medical office environment is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of dental terminology and insurance verification processes. Excellent customer service skills combined with phone etiquette expertise in managing multi-line phone systems. Proven ability to manage administrative tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced setting.
