In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, visitors, and staff, ensuring smooth operations at the front desk. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help create a positive experience for everyone who walks through our doors. The ideal candidate will possess strong medical administrative support skills, proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems, and excellent communication abilities. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a caring healthcare environment while developing your professional skills. Duties Greet patients and visitors warmly, providing exceptional customer service and guiding them through check-in and check-out processes Verify insurance coverage and perform insurance verification using systems and keep in contact with patients attorneys Schedule appointments efficiently using medical scheduling software and coordinate with clinical staff to optimize daily clinic flow Manage multi-line phone systems with professionalism, answering inquiries promptly and routing calls appropriately Maintain accurate medical records by updating patient information in EMR systems while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations Assist with documentation review, data entry, and filing of medical records to support accurate health information management Support office management tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining a clean, organized front desk area Skills Extensive experience with medical office management software Extensive Front Desk experience Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) Excellent phone etiquette with the ability to handle multi-line phone systems confidently Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse patient populations effectively Prior clinic or dental office experience is preferred to ensure seamless integration into our workflow Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and health information management standards to safeguard patient privacy Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation review and record keeping Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism while maintaining a friendly demeanor Join us in delivering outstanding patient service while supporting the daily operations of our healthcare facility.
