  • Patient Care Coordinator Primary job responsibilities include,
  • Greeting visitors and patients daily, registering new patients, provides necessary paperwork (welcome letter, HIPAA documents), and ensures all required documents are completed
  • Establishes, maintains, and keeps patient files and records up to date (i.e. address, phone number, insurance information, etc.) in the practice management software.
  • Organizes daily charts and prepares for clinical review
  • Answers telephone, routes calls, provides information, and takes messages in accordance with practice procedures.
  • Monitors voicemails messages, office emails and faxes.
  • Schedules, confirms, and monitors patient appointments
  • Obtains x-rays, referrals and sends treatment letters to referring providers
  • Familiar with Dentrix software
  • Records treatment plans in the practice management software.
  • Reconciles Insurance
  • Confirms insurance information, including subscriber's information, is entered correctly in the practice management software and updates as needed
  • Performs other duties and tasks as directed
  • Ability to work cooperatively with management, staff, and patients.
  • Ability to prioritize, organize, and complete tasks in a timely and independent manner.

  • Private practice We are currently looking for a friendly and outgoing individual that is driven and team-oriented to help with all front desk operations of our newly remodeled dental office.
We prefer an individual with one year of experience at the front desk of a dental office and requires minimal training. To excel in this role, you should be self-motivated, organized, have good communication skills, and work well with other staff. The position is for around 30-35 hours a week. Hourly pay rate is based on candidates dental office reception experience level.. The upper end of the pay scale would be reserved for a candidate with years of dental reception experience, familiar with Dentrix dental software, would require virtually no training beyond office policies, and be expected to be a leader at the front desk of our office.
Pay:
$20.00 - $24.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 35.0 per week
