Medical Receptionist

We are looking for a positive, energetic Medical Receptionist for full-time hire in our private Holistic Family Medicine Office in Livonia, MI. We see patients of all ages so every day is different. You will be the sole Medical Receptionist along with the help of a Medical Assistant. Job responsibilities include... Greeting and checking patients in Answering phones in a timely manner Prior Authorizations Scheduling patients Collecting co-pays Must be able to communicate via telephone and in person in a professional, courteous, friendly manner Maintains knowledge and skills of front office operations in order to assist as necessary with reception, scheduling, and billing functions. REQUIRED

2 years of Medical Receptionist experience must have excellent interpersonal skills computer skills with EMR great attitude, work ethic, and social graces Company Description Our office has one provider who is a Board Certified Holistic Family Medicine M.D. with over 20 years experience in Family Medicine. He utilizes an individualized, patient centered, science-based approach that empowers his patients to work together to address the underlying causes of disease and promote optimal wellness. In focusing on the causes, he attempts to limit and decrease dependency on medications and surgery. He utilizes nutrition, lifestyle changes, and targeted natural remedies to promote healing and balance.
