We offer a safe learning environment in a 4 practitioner private practice setting where you will have the ability to grow skills to take you onto your next step in your education. In this vital role, you will be the friendly first point of contact for patients and visitors, ensuring a smooth and efficient front desk operation. Your energetic approach will help create a welcoming environment while managing a variety of administrative tasks. Your expertise in medical office procedures, EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems, and excellent patient service skills will contribute to delivering outstanding healthcare experiences. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dedicated medical team committed to quality care and operational excellence. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly, verify their information, and facilitate check-in and check-out processes efficiently Schedule appointments using medical scheduling software eClincalWorks Verify insurance coverage, perform insurance eligibility checks, and process insurance claims accurately Manage patient records by updating and maintaining electronic health records (EHR) Handle multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette, directing calls appropriately and taking detailed messages Assist with billing procedures including medical collection efforts and documentation review for accuracy Prepping Charts on a daily basis Scanning medical documents Qualifications We are looking for Gap year students who are looking for in office experience Excellent computer skills including Google docs, EHR, and comfortability in learning new skills. Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally in person and over the phone Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in documentation review and insurance verification Join us in making a difference by providing top-tier administrative support within a vibrant healthcare environment!
