Walk The Line Recovery Therapy is a premier Physical and Occupational Therapy clinic offering specialized treatment for neurological injuries, including spinal cord and traumatic brain injuries. Known for our client‑centered approach, the clinic designs customized recovery programs tailored to individual needs and goals, employing a team model during sessions for optimal results. Walk The Line fosters a community of health, wellness, empowerment, and recovery through education and innovative practices.
Role Description:
This is a full‑time, on‑site role for a Medical Receptionist in Southfield, Michigan. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with no weekends. The Medical Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for clients and visitors, playing a key role in supporting the administrative and clinical operations of the clinic. Responsibilities include greeting and checking clients in, answering phones, managing cancellations, and supporting the administrative office with various tasks as needed. No experience is required; we will train you!
Qualifications :
Associate degree preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office required (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Strong communication and organizational skills. Friendly, motivated, and team‑oriented. Medical office experience preferred but not required — we will train you!
Bonus:
Experience in graphic arts or design is a plus (not required)
Responsibilities:
Answer and route phone calls to appropriate staff Confirm therapy appointments; update changes in the system Greet clients and visitors and direct them appropriately Maintain client records via mail, email, or fax Assist clients with intake forms, case histories, and insurance documentations Prepare reports, letters, and other documents using Microsoft Office Support company events and team meetings through clerical coordination Maintain and organized, welcoming front desk environment Communicate effectively with clients, families, and staff to build trust and confidence
