We are seeking a friendly, organized, and patient-focused Medical Receptionist who will help create a seamless experience for our patients. Overview The Medical Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for patients and plays a key role in creating a welcoming and positive experience. We are seeking a dependable and motivated team leader who is responsible, reliable, and committed to delivering exceptional patient service.
Schedule:
Full-time, Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-4:30 PM. Duties Greet patients, check them in and out, and manage appointment scheduling Verify insurance, update demographics, and collect copays Answer phone calls, address questions, and route messages Ensure front-desk and office areas remain clean and organized Scan and upload documents into patient charts Process faxes, referrals, and medical record requests Maintain strict HIPAA compliance and protect patient confidentiality Requirements Previous experience as a medical receptionist or front desk position is required Ability to work under pressure and maintain smooth patient flow Experience in an endocrinology practice is preferred, but not required Familiarity with EMR systems (Athena, Epic, etc) Knowledge of basic medical terminology Ability to multitask, prioritize, and respond promptly to provider requests Professional, friendly, and compassionate demeanor Exceptional attention to detail, organizational and communication skills Enjoy a Monday-Friday work schedule with no weekends, no holidays, in a small private practice where teamwork matters and a difference is made.
