Medical Receptionist Description:
Our established Troy dermatology practice is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Medical Receptionist to join our team full-time. This fast-paced, high-volume role is perfect for an adaptable professional with exceptional customer service skills and a passion for delivering an outstanding patient experience.
Responsibilities:
Check patients in and out Manage high volume phone calls and respond to patient inquiries Ensure timely and accurate updates to patient records within the EMR, adhering to HIPAA regulations Schedule and manage appointments Processing payments Verifying insurance information Daily administrative duties as assigned
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience in a medical office setting preferred Excellent communication skills and a positive, team-player attitude. Strong computer skills Ability to multi-task EMR experience is a plus, but not required
