The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a welcoming demeanor, and a strong background in dental office administration. This role involves, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, confirming appointments and various other tasks that support our office manager. The Dental Front Desk Receptionist plays a vital role in ensuring smooth office operations while delivering outstanding patient service and support. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression. Schedule and confirm patient appointments using dental practice management software such as Dentrix. Verify insurance coverage and benefits for all dental insurance including websites. Collect payments, process co-pays, give patients accurate estimates. Manage patient check-in and check-out procedures, including updating insurance coverage and demographic information. Prior experience working as a dental receptionist with clinic or office experience preferred. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical coding (ICD-10, CPT), and billing processes specific to dental practices. Familiarity with dental practice management software such as Dentrix; experience is preferred Exceptional phone etiquette, communication skills, and ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations related to health information management and patient privacy.
