Job Description

Job Overview We are looking for a friendly, detail-oriented, and positive Optometric Assistant to join our growing practice. If you enjoy helping people and want a rewarding career in eye care, we'd love to hear from you. Responsibilities Welcome and assist patients at the front desk Answer and manage incoming phone calls Schedule appointments and maintain patient records Verify and file vision and medical insurance claims Assist patients in selecting frames and lenses that fit their needs and lifestyle Dispense and adjust eyeglasses Perform preliminary patient testing and work patients up for the doctor Maintain accurate documentation and ensure smooth office operations Provide exceptional customer service throughout the patient experience
Qualifications:
Friendly, professional, and patient-focused attitude Strong organizational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail Previous experience in a medical office environment or optical setting is highly preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate who is motivated to learn and grow
