This vital role combines front desk responsibilities with clinical support, ensuring smooth patient flow and efficient administrative operations. The ideal candidate is fast leaner who will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate excellent communication skills, and possess a strong foundation in medical administrative support, patient care, and insurance procedures. Your proactive approach will help enhance patient experiences while maintaining accurate documentation and billing practices. This is initially part time position. with growing to full time for best candidates. Excellent recommendations from current and direct job supervisor are required Salary/hourly rate - depends on prior experience in front desk/Admins role Benefits provided at the level of full time position
Responsibilities:
Verify patients information, and facilitate check-in and check-out processes efficiently Taking phone calls and responding to phones, EHR messages in timely manner Schedule appointments accurately using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, coordinating with providers' calendars Collect patient demographics, insurance details, and perform initial intake procedures to ensure complete documentation Manage charging copays and deductibles, initiating billing processes, including insurance verification Assist providers with variety of clinical and admins tasks such as taking vital signs, preparing examination rooms, filing documentation paperwork (FMLA, letters, etc) Maintain organized records of patient encounters, billing transactions, and appointment schedules while adhering to HIPAA confidentiality protocols Requirements Proven experience in medical administrative support within outpatient or hospital settings; dermatology, urgent care, or hospital medicine experience is strongly required Familiarity with EHR systems and medical billing software Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and basic life support principles Prior experience with intake procedures, vital signs collection, medication administration support, and outpatient workflow Excellent communication skills to provide exceptional patient service and coordinate effectively with healthcare teams Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly while managing multiple priorities efficiently Join our team to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives through dedicated support and compassionate care.
