Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and patient-focused Dental Office Receptionist to oversee the daily operations of a busy general family dental practice. This role is responsible for ensuring an efficient, welcoming, and compliant office environment while supporting both clinical and administrative teams. The ideal candidate combines strong leadership skills with a solid understanding of dental office workflows, insurance processes, and patient care standards.Key Responsibilities:
Ensure excellent patient experience from check-in to check-out Handle patient inquiries, concerns, and conflict resolution professionally Manage day-to-day office operations, including scheduling, staffing, and patient flow Supervise and support front desk and administrative team members Oversee appointment scheduling to maximize productivity and minimize gaps Verify and manage dental insurance claims, billing, and collections Maintain accurate patient records and ensure HIPAA compliance Assist in monitoring office budgets, expenses, and financial performance Coordinate with dental providers to optimize clinical efficiency Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and other regulatory requirements Manage inventory and order office supplies as neededQualifications:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment Previous experience in a dental office management or supervisory role (preferred) Strong knowledge of dental insurance, billing, and coding practices Familiarity with dental practice management software (Eaglesoft) Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities Leadership experience with a team-oriented mindsetWork Location:
