Job Description
Job Summary Job description: Our welcoming and well-established pediatric office is seeking an outgoing, cheerful, self-motivated team player, bilingual preferred, to join our group. Our current front office staff works together to support our patients and 5 providers. Typical daily work tasks would include greeting and checking in patients, accurately verifying demographics and insurance, collecting balances, and processing faxes and forms. Addtional work tasks may include patient outreach, tidying the waiting room, and completing other projects as required. Experience in a medical office setting with previous EMR or billing experince is helpful but not required. Customer service experience and a positive attitude are mandatory. Office hours are 8 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday and 9 am to 12 pm on Saturday. The ideal candidate will be able to work 4-5 week days from 8:00am to close (between 5 and 5:30 pm) and one Saturday per month. We are flexible depending on candidate's preference for 32 or 40 hour work weeks. Benefits eligibility starts after 30 days of employment including health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, employer-paid life insurance, and short term disability options. We have paid time off accrued on a rolling basis and 6 paid holidays per year. 401k plan is subject to open enrollment in January and July and offers tiered employer matching up to 4%.
