Job Description

Front Desk Manager Overview Join our valued team as a Dental Receptionist, where your energetic and welcoming attitude will set the tone for an exceptional patient experience. In this vital front-office role, you will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, managing appointments, insurance verifications, and records with precision and professionalism. Duties Greet patients warmly upon arrival, providing excellent customer service and guiding them through check-in procedures Schedule appointments efficiently using dental practice management software Practiceworks, ensuring optimal patient flow Verify insurance coverage and benefits to facilitate accurate billing and claims processing Manage multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette, handling inquiries and appointment scheduling with clarity and confidence Maintain accurate dental records and documentation review in compliance with HIPAA regulations Perform insurance verification, authorization requests, and follow-up on outstanding claims to support billing processes Assist with office administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing patient intake forms to ensure organized clinic operations Qualifications Proven experience as a Medical Receptionist or Dental Receptionist in a clinical or healthcare setting with dental office experience preferred Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, CDT coding, and billing procedures Familiarity with dental software such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or Practiceworks is highly desirable Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office suite; ability to navigate software systems efficiently Exceptional customer service skills combined with professional phone etiquette and effective communication abilities Ability to handle sensitive patient information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines while maintaining confidentiality Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for documentation review and office management tasks Join us to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives through efficient office support and compassionate service!
Pay:
$22.00 - $24.00 per hour
