Job Description
TMS Technician Waybridge Clinics Omaha, NE Job Details Part-time $24 - $30 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Paid time off Qualifications Teamwork Medical office experience Care documentation Attention to detail Therapeutic devices Full Job Description About Waybridge Waybridge Clinics is a modern interventional psychiatry practice serving patients in Nashville, TN and Omaha, NE. We specialize in evidence-based treatments for depression and other mood disorders, including, IV ketamine therapy, Spravato (esketamine) and, beginning this summer, TMS (transcranial magnetic stimulation). Our Omaha clinic is led by a full-time PMHNP and a small, tight-knit team that takes pride in delivering thoughtful, high-quality care. We are launching TMS in Omaha in mid-2026 and are hiring an experienced TMS technician to anchor the program from day one. About the Role This is a hybrid clinical support role with TMS at its core. You'll be our lead TMS technician — running daily treatments, working closely with our PMHNP to support a smooth program launch, and helping us scale TMS services in a market that is meaningfully underserved relative to its population. Because we're ramping TMS volume gradually over the first several months, this role is part-time to start (20-35 hours/week) with a clear path toward full-time as TMS volume grows over the year. In the meantime, your hours will be filled with adjacent clinical and administrative work that genuinely matters to our patients and our team — Spravato observation, prior authorizations, front desk coverage, and intake call support. We are looking for someone who is energized by that variety, not just willing to tolerate it. If you're an experienced TMS tech who has worn multiple hats in a small clinic before — and who wants meaningful ownership of a program from launch — this role is built for you. What You'll Do TMS administration (primary responsibility) Set up and operate the TMS device for daily patient treatments Assist the PMHNP with motor threshold determinations and treatment mapping Monitor patients throughout each session and document treatment delivery accurately Maintain equipment, supplies, and treatment room readiness Build rapport with TMS patients across their 6+ week treatment course Spravato (esketamine) support Supervise Spravato dosing observation periods in accordance with REMS protocol Monitor vitals and patient status during the 2-hour observation window Coordinate Spravato scheduling and dosing logistics with the clinical team Prior authorizations Submit and manage prior authorizations for Spravato and TMS Track auth status, follow up with payers, and escalate appeals when needed Maintain accurate documentation to support medical necessity Front desk and intake support Cover the front desk as needed — greeting patients, scheduling, check-in/check-out Field and conduct intake calls for prospective patients, especially during slower TMS hours Help coordinate referrals from outside providers Who You Are Required Hands-on TMS technician experience Comfortable working independently with patients during treatments Strong attention to detail with clinical documentation Reliable, punctual, and patient-centered in every interaction Open and enthusiastic about a hybrid role — Spravato, PAs, front desk, and intake calls are real parts of this job, not occasional asks Strongly preferred Experience supervising Spravato observation periods under REMS Experience completing prior authorizations for Spravato, TMS, or other interventional psychiatry services Prior front desk or medical receptionist experience in a mental health or specialty clinic setting Familiarity with EMR systems and insurance verification workflows Nice to have
