Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team! In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing a wide range of administrative duties. Your energetic approach and organizational skills will ensure smooth clinic operations, efficient patient flow, and accurate documentation. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a compassionate healthcare environment while utilizing your medical office experience and technical expertise. Duties Greet patients warmly, verify insurance coverage, and facilitate patient check-in and check-out processes. Schedule appointments efficiently Verify insurance benefits, perform insurance verification, and handle prior authorizations to ensure seamless billing processes. maintaining confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Assist with medical billing and collection efforts by processing payments, posting charges, and following up on outstanding balances. Skills Familiarity with insurance verification processes including Medicare and other payers; understanding of ICD coding and documentation review is highly desirable. Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; ability to navigate dental or medical office management Exceptional patient service skills combined with professional phone etiquette and effective communication abilities. familiarity with front desk operations and office management enhances your success in this role.
