DENTAL CLINICAL & FRONT OFFICE COORDINATOR

THE ROLE & WHY IT MATTERS
We are hiring a Dental Clinical & Front Office Coordinator — a rare, cross-trained professional who can move seamlessly between clinical support and front-office operations. This is not a role for someone who wants to do "just enough." This role exists because we believe the best dental experiences are powered by team members who understand every dimension of patient care. Your presence directly impacts patient satisfaction, treatment acceptance, clinical efficiency, and our ability to scale. SCHEDULE
Tuesday:
8:45 AM - 5:00
PM Friday:
8:45 AM - 5:30 PM Part-time position. Days are fixed. Punctuality and reliability are non-negotiable. ────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Front Desk & Patient Experience:
Greet, check in, and check out patients with warmth and professionalism Answer phones, manage the schedule, and confirm appointments in Dentrix Accurately calculate patient copays, verify insurance benefits, and collect balances Process billing, handle EOBs, and coordinate with insurance carriers as needed Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front office environment Communicate treatment plans clearly and support patient case acceptance
Clinical Support:
Assist Dr. Cappelli and Dr. Lim chairside during procedures and surgical cases Anticipate the provider's needs — instruments, materials, and patient positioning Properly sterilize and maintain instruments in compliance with OSHA and infection control protocols Prepare operatories before appointments and break them down after Take X-rays and perform clinical intake as directed Maintain accurate and complete patient clinical records
Team Collaboration:
Work collaboratively with the hygiene team, front desk, and clinical staff Communicate proactively when patient flow, schedules, or clinical needs shift Uphold our standard of care and patient experience at every touchpoint Contribute to a positive, high-performance team culture ────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Must-Haves:
Experience in a dental front office and/or clinical support role Proficiency in Dentrix (scheduling, charting, billing) Ability to accurately calculate copays and explain financial responsibilities to patients Knowledge of dental instruments, sterilization techniques, and infection control protocols Current or ability to obtain CPR/BLS certification Strong verbal communication and professional patient-facing manner Ability to multitask, prioritize, and maintain composure under pressure Reliable transportation and the ability to commit to the fixed schedule
What Sets You Apart:
