Role:
Join the Pain and Disability Institute PC as a Medical Receptionist in Jersey City, NJ! Be the first point of contact for our patients and play a vital role in providing exceptional care in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
Greet patients warmly and manage front desk operations efficiently. Schedule appointments and handle patient inquiries via phone and in-person. Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality at all times. Process insurance verifications and handle billing inquiries. Assist with administrative tasks to support medical staff and enhance patient experience. Coordinate with medical professionals to streamline office workflow.
GET COPAYMENTS AND DEDUCTIBLES FROM PATIENTS GETTING AUTHORIZATION FOR PROCEDURES AND TREATMENT
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in medical office administration is a plus. Previous experience in a medical office or reception role preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and staff. Proficient in using office software and electronic health records systems. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. Compassionate demeanor with a focus on patient care and satisfaction.
