Medical Receptionist (experienced applicants only)

Our Lawrenceville, New Jersey Internal Medicine office is seeking a passionate individual to join our team . Our physicians believe strongly in preventive medicine and strive to provide a high level of service to our patients. The ideal candidate will have experience in a medical office. Duties/Responsibilities:

Telephone triage including scheduling appointments Preparing referrals and obtaining precertification Check in patients for appointments Communication with patients, physician offices, insurance companies and hospitals Check out patients after appointments

Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent At least 6 months experience in a medical office is preferred Initiative, compassion and ability to prioritize

• Excellent communication skills
• Experience using electronic medical records, EPIC is a plus. Knowledge of medical terminology
