Job Summary This busy medical practice is seeking a friendly and organized Medical Receptionist to join our team! In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for patients. Your responsibilities will include answering phone calls & voicemails, managing patient appointments, and providing administrative support. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and friendly. This position offers the potential for advancement. Responsibilities Greet patients and perform check-in and check-out procedures using Electronic Health Record (EHR) Schedule appointments using scheduling software Answer incoming calls professionally and respond to voice and email messages in a timely manner Collect and review patient documentation, including intake forms, medical histories, insurance information and consents Skills Strong communication skills The ability to multi-task and prioritize Some experience working with EMR/EHR and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to communicate clearly Basic familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality. Previous medical office experience is preferred but not required for energetic, fast learners.
