Our focus is on providing reliable, caring, and personalized dental care for families and patients of all ages. We understand that many patients feel anxious about dental visits—and we strive to make every experience comfortable, kind, and reassuring. And of course, I as the owner and dentist, value my coworkers and enjoy getting to know them. Role Description This is a part-time to a full-time, on-site role for an Insurance Administrator/Front Desk Staff member located in Sparta,NJ. Responsibilities include verifying insurance coverage, downloading patient benefit breakdowns, making dental treatment plans, liaising with patients and insurance providers, facilitating effective communication, and performing front desk administrative duties. The role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to maintain accurate records and handle inquiries in a professional and courteous manner. We are looking for an extra pair of hands to handle a high volume, vibrant dental office. Qualifications Proficiency in Customer Service and Communication skills Knowledge of managing and verifying dental insurance Comprehensive knowledge of dental insurance plans. Accurate insurance verification, benefit breakdowns, and eligibility analysis Strong understanding of annual maximums, deductibles, coverage percentages, and frequency limitations Ability to identify and explain insurance downgrades (downcodes) and their financial impact to patients Presenting treatment plans with clarity, confidence, and professionalism Ability to prioritize tasks and handle confidential information responsibly High attention to detail, especially in insurance and financial accuracy Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills Front desk duties as needed including, but not limited to: answering phones, scheduling patients, checking in patients and collecting patient copays. Strong focus on patient experience and relationship building Schedule Flexible scheduling available (Full-time or Part-time) Office hours: Mon-Thu 8am-5/7pm. One Saturday a month 8am-1pm Hours depend on the right applicant Willing to train the right, enthusiastic candidate!
