- Contract We are seeking a Medical Office Receptionist to join our team and help deliver an exceptional experience for patients and visitors from the moment they walk through the door.
POSITION OVERVIEW
Warmly welcomes and assists patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner. Enters basic demographic and insurance information into the system accurately. Collects co-pays and outstanding balances at the time of the visit. Verifies insurance coverage and confirms eligibility. Secures referrals and authorizations when necessary. Schedules patient appointments efficiently and accurately. Willingness to travel to other office locations within Sussex, Warren, and Morris counties, as needed. Participates in a rotating weekend schedule as required. Supports the Office Manager with various administrative and clerical tasks as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Prior experience as a medical receptionist Familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems is required. Travel to other locations, in the Sussex/Warren/Morris counties, as needed.
PREFERRED SKILLS
Background in orthopedics is a plus. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-focused, positive attitude.

LOCATION
onsite in Sparta, NJ (looking for someone who is comfortable floating on occasion to fill in when other employees are out of office: Hackettstown, Randolph, and maybe Morristown.)
