Medical Receptionist/Front Desk

Responsibilities:

• Greet and check-in patients in a friendly and professional manner
• Schedule and confirm appointments using office scheduling systems
• Collect and verify patient insurance information and confirm eligibility.
• Assist with medical administrative support tasks such as insurance verification and scanning patient demographic data.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
• Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries or direct calls to the appropriate department
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and visitors
• Assist with medical scheduling and coordinating patient appointments

Requirements:

• Bilingual Spanish/English
• Previous experience working in a medical or dental office setting is preferred but willing to train
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in using computer systems and software for medical administrative tasks
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
