The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of obtaining breakdowns of benefits, contacting insurance companies to inquire about covered procedures and fee schedules, processing pre-authorizations, as well as entering and calculating downgrades and frequencies. Job Summary The receptionist plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth processing of checking in. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of dental terminology, as well as experience with insurance verification processes. Duties
  • Checking in patients
  • Handeling heavy call volume
  • Communicate effectively with patients regarding their insurance inquiries and billing questions.
  • Utilize Dentrix Ascend software for managing patient records
  • Stay updated on changes in insurance policies, procedures, and regulations. Requirements
  • Bilingual:
    Fluent in English & Spanish (heavy call volume)
  • Strong knowledge of dental terminology is essential.
  • Previous experience in pediatrics is desirable but not mandatory.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and healthcare providers.
This role is ideal for individuals who are organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about providing excellent support in the healthcare industry.
