We are a modern, family-owned PPO/FFS (no HMO/Medicaid) dental practice looking for an experienced front office team member to join us! Well-mannered, presentable, team players only—we have fun every day, work hard together, and intend to keep our positive culture that way. In this role, you'll join two other friendly and highly experienced front desk treatment coordinators and front desk team members. To thrive here, you'll need prior experience in dental insurance and front office operations , and a passion for helping patients smile confidently.
What We're Looking For:
A friendly, detail-oriented, and proactive team player with excellent communication and customer service skills. Key Responsibilities Patient Experience & Front Desk Operations Greet patients warmly and professionally Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently Answer phone calls and patient inquiries with clarity and care Schedule and manage appointments using a well-organized calendar Send appointment reminders and confirmations Maintain a clean and welcoming front office space Insurance & Financial Coordination Verify dental insurance benefits accurately Complete pre-authorizations and referrals when needed Assist with insurance claims, billing, and follow-up Clearly explain financial responsibilities and present payment options Create custom payment plans using sound judgment and problem-solving Process and track patient payments with attention to detail Treatment Coordination Support Support treatment plan presentation and clearly and help patients understand their coverage Educate patients on their recommended treatment and coverage Follow up on unscheduled treatments and recall visits Administrative & Compliance Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and all dental office regulations Prepare and manage patient documentation and correspondence Collaborate with the rest of the dental team to ensure smooth daily operations What You Bring 1+ years of dental front office experience (required) Experience with dental software (Eaglesoft preferred; Dentrix, Open Dental, or Denticon easily cross-trained) Strong knowledge of dental insurance and benefits verification Treatment coordination experience a plus Excellent written and verbal communication skills Friendly, professional, and solution-oriented mindset Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment Familiarity with Microsoft Office is a plus Schedule & Compensation Full-time, 4-5 days a week•
M-F Hours:
8:00 AM•5:00 PM (approximately 32-40 hours)
Pay:
$18•20/hour, based on experience
