Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for accurately and professionally handling front desk operations including answering phones, greeting patients, scheduling of all appointments, addressing routine inquiries, and forwarding non-routine requests to appropriate personnel. Prepares necessary patient paperwork prior to patient's appointment. Reviews information that needs to be updated. Works with patients to obtain updated information and accurately enters information into Advanced MD and EHR. Identifies payer sources, verifies insurance eligibility, and verifies prior authorization. Recording and collecting patient copays and/or balances at check in/out.

Qualifications:

Experience in customer service setting, preferably 1 year receptionist experience in a health care setting.
