Full Job Description Company Overview:
We're a small practice in Bronxville, NY, with a very friendly team! Our office is conveniently located right by the Metro-North train station. We value forming long lasting relationships with our patients while providing high quality dentistry in a tight knit community.
Job Overview:
We're looking for a front desk receptionist who is professional, friendly, team-oriented, and hard-working. Ideal candidate will possess strong professional communication skills, multitask effectively, and have at least 2 years experience as a front desk/insurance coordinator.
Competitive Pay:
$23•28/hr, negotiable
Schedule:
36 hours per week. Mondays, Tuesdays 8am•7pm; Thursdays, Fridays 8am•3pm.
Benefits:
Paid time off (2 weeks vacation, 1 week sick/personal days), paid working holidays, dental benefits, pension sharing benefits.
Responsibilities:
Welcome patients; check in and check out Answering and managing phone calls, emails, texts timely Managing PPO networks, in addition to FFS patients Managing and verifying insurance benefits, real time eligibility, processing EOBs, preauthorizations, data entry Discussing and collecting copays at the time of visit with ease; answering and helping patients understand financial responsibilities Keep track of patient ledgers and insurance aging reports; follow up on outstanding claims and payments Manage and keep full schedule running smoothly and proactively fill open slots, protect production Keeping patient charts updated
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years experience required Excellent communication and written skills, on the phone and in person with both patients and team members Comprehensive knowledge of dental insurance required, most PPOs Spanish or other languages are helpful, but not required Experience with Denticon is helpful, but not required Friendly with strong interpersonal skills Ability to multitask Professional, presentable and reliable Organized, clean and trustworthy team player
Pay:
$23.00•$28.00 per hour
