Job Description

Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and compassionate Medical Receptionist to join our dynamic mental health clinic. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional support to our healthcare team, ensuring the smooth operation of our office and delivering a positive patient experience. We pride ourselves in our fun work environment and welcome a positive attitude. Medical office reception work experience is required.
Schedule:
Monday through Thursday 8:00 to 5:00pm with an hour lunch break at noon Friday 8:00 to 3:00pm
Responsibilities:
  • Greet patients, answer phones, and respond to inquiries in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Manage patient scheduling, including coordinating appointments and ensuring timely communication with patients.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential medical records, utilizing our electronic medical record system.
  • Process medical billing and insurance claims, ensuring compliance with regulations and policies.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and respond to urgent care situations.
  • Perform administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies.
Skills:
  • Proficiency in medical scheduling software
  • Experience working in a outpatient clinic or medical office setting
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Familiarity with electronic medical record systems and medical records management.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
