Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and organized Front Desk Agent to join our dental facility team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while managing various administrative tasks. This role requires a strong communication skills, and proficiency in various electronic ) systems. Duties Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Manage patient scheduling, including appointment booking and confirmation. Handle incoming calls on multi-line phone systems with professionalism and courtesy. Verify patient insurance information and assist with insurance claims processing. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Review care plans and ensure proper documentation is maintained. Assist with clerical tasks such as filing, typing, and data entry using Dentrix Provide administrative support to dental providers, office manager and other staff members as needed. Maintain the front desk area to ensure it is organized and presentable. Skills Proficiency in Dentrix is preferred and understand insurance. Experience in medical/ dental office management or as a medical receptionist is highly desirable. Familiarity with patient service protocols and customer service best practices. Excellent computer skills with the ability to navigate various software applications efficiently. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply for enhanced patient communication. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for documentation review and filing tasks. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple tasks effectively.
