Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional service while managing administrative tasks in a fast-paced dental clinic environment. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Duties Greet patients as they arrive and check them in for appointments. Manage patient records and ensure all medical records are accurately maintained. Schedule appointments and confirm upcoming visits for patients. Assist with patient inquiries regarding services, insurance, and billing. Process patient payments and manage billing inquiries, including Medicare-related questions. Maintain a clean and organized reception area to create a welcoming environment. Collaborate with dental staff to ensure smooth clinic operations. Utilize medical office systems for record keeping and appointment scheduling. Provide support to patients as needed. Experience Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar medical office role is preferred. Familiarity with medical records management and patient service protocols is essential. Familiarity with dental terminology, insurance plans, and CDT codes Experience with medical billing processes is a plus. Proficiency in using dental office software and systems. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as this will enhance patient communication. Strong organizational skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
