We are seeking a Medical Receptionist for a full-time position. Summary of tasks (please note not all may be listed): Responsibilities include use of multiple EMR systems, answering multi-line phones, scheduling patients, data/demographic entry, checking and collecting patient copay's/balances, verifying insurance eligibility before patients appointments, appointment confirmations, writing scripts for labs/imaging under Physicians instructions, completing forms for pt needs according to office policies, completing insurance prior authorization/referral requests, HIPAA compliance, speaking with pt/parents on phone regarding health info/questions and directing call to appropriate staff after fielding with questions, keeping work area neat and clean, disinfecting /cleaning patient areas per office needs, keeping front end of office (waiting area & patient rest room) clean/organized with a thorough wipe down at end of each day, scanning documents and paper charts, and providing necessary paperwork to patients/parents, etc. Candidates must be reliable, organized, responsible, flexible, friendly, personable, and have the ability to multitask. Candidates must be able to work well as a team as you work alongside the medical assistant and support one another in this small office setting. You must also be able to work independently on role specific tasks. The Required work schedule at this time for-PART-TIME
POSITION
is: 40-42hrs per week (paid lunches after 1 month training period) Days worked are full shifts for office hours (this means until last patient leaves & daily tasks are completed). Weekly office hours may vary slightly due to patient volume for day. Our office Hours are as follows: ~

9a-1p (possible 9a-5p shift when closed Saturdays) ~

FULL-TIME POSITION
schedule requirementswould be Monday-Friday with required Saturdays. Pay range varies based on experience and training requirements. Within one month of completed training employee receives paid lunch. After a 3 months probationary period a self assessment is done and we discuss a raise based on performance, demonstration of continual initiative, and handling of expected job tasks.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Ability to maintain an extremely professional demeanor and appearance at all times.
- Excellent customer service skills. Able to speak in a calm, professional manner to patients/parents.
- Ability to maintain HIPAA confidentiality at all times.
- Able to work with computers and sit for long periods of time.
- Must be able to climb stairs (to enter our office we are located downstairs)
- Ability to bend and lift 30-40lbs
