Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional service while managing administrative tasks within a dental practice. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Duties Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out processes. Schedule patient appointments efficiently using Dental scheduling software. Manage patient files, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date. Handle phone inquiries, providing information about services and addressing patient concerns. Insurance Verification. Utilize electronic health record systems. Assist in the coordination of treatment plans and follow-up appointments. • Skills Proficiency in HIPAA compliance to ensure patient confidentiality. Strong patient service skills to foster a welcoming environment for patients. Experience with medical scheduling systems to manage appointments effectively. Familiarity with Medicare processes and insurance claim handling. Ability to file documents accurately and maintain organized records. Competence in using phone systems for effective communication. Knowledge of insurance verification process. Experience in health information management practices. Proficient typing skills for efficient data entry.
