Medical Receptionist

Job Purpose:

We are recruiting for an experienced full time, flexible medical receptionist position for our busy pediatric primary care group. Your schedule will include one evening per week, possibly two, and will be included in a Saturday rotation every month from 8 am-12 noon. Candidates must have the ability to work as part of a team and have excellent customer service skills. Our office utilizes Medent software, so experience is a plus. We are located at 2890 Niagara Falls Blvd, North Tonawanda.

Duties:

Handle incoming/outgoing calls to change or reschedule patient appointments Patient check-in and check-out Collect co-pays and patient balances at time of check in Scanning all documents that come into office and routing them appropriately Electronic direct messaging of documents to outside specialists; and other tasks that may be assigned.

Skills/Qualifications:

Knowledge of various insurance plans, computer literacy and electronic medical records, multi-tasking, flexibility, multi-line telephone skills, customer service, time management, organization, attention to detail, scheduling, professionalism and a strong focus on quality.
