Dental Receptionist

Dental Receptionist Owego Dental We are seeking a dedicated Dental Receptionist with dental experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and administrative support in a dental office setting. The Dental Receptionist will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the dental clinic by managing patient appointments, handling inquiries, and maintaining accurate patient records. Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments
• Manage patient registration and insurance verification processes
• Maintain electronic health records
• Assist with dental billing and payment processing
• Coordinate with dental staff to ensure efficient patient flow
• Follow HIPAA guidelines to maintain patient confidentiality
• Handle inquiries over the phone and in person regarding appointments, services, and general information
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year dental office experience required.
• Knowledge of dental procedures
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact with patients and staff professionally
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
