Job Description

We are seeking a reliable, organized, and personable Dental Front Desk Coordinator to join our team in Port Jefferson or Patchogue. This role is the first point of contact for patients and plays a critical part in maintaining a smooth and efficient office environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and check in/check out patients with professionalism and warmth Manage multi-line phone system (scheduling, confirmations, inquiries) Coordinate and maintain the doctor's schedule to optimize productivity Verify dental insurance and obtain pre-authorizations Process patient payments and handle billing inquiries Maintain accurate patient records in practice management software Communicate effectively with clinical and administrative staff
Qualifications:
Prior dental front desk experience preferred (1+ years) Knowledge of dental insurance (PPO) and verification processes Strong organizational and multitasking skills Excellent communication and customer service skills Familiarity with dental software (Dentrix Ascend) is a plus Professional demeanor and strong attention to detail
Compensation & Benefits:
