This is a patient focused practice with the needs of the patient a top priority. The staff works as a team in order to render the best patient care. Responsibilities of the receptionist include but are not limited to the following:
- Managing high volume of phone calls to make appointments and answer patient questions
- Greeting and processing the patients
- Seeing the big picture and acting accordingly
- Attention to details.
- Verifying of insurance
- Submitting electronic Rx
- Basic billing
- Interacting with patients with care and compassion Computer skills are a must Must be fluent in Spanish Must work all Saturdays with a weekday off Some medical background is a plus.
