Our dedicated team is committed to delivering exceptional service in a comfortable environment, ensuring every patient receives the highest quality oral health support. New larger location opening 2026! Job Overview The Dental Front Office Coordinator serves as the first point of contact for patients and plays a key role in the daily operations of the practice. Responsibilities include scheduling, patient communication, insurance processing, collections, payment processing, and maintaining accurate patient accounts. Our hours are 8:00-4:00 Monday to Thursday. Responsibilities Greet patients and provide outstanding customer service Answer phones and manage appointment scheduling Verify dental insurance benefits and eligibility Submit and track insurance claims Process patient payments and maintain accurate financial records Manage collections and follow up on outstanding balances Generate and send patient statements Maintain patient accounts and update demographic information Utilize Open Dental software for scheduling, billing, insurance, and reporting Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flow Present treatment estimates and discuss financial arrangements with patients Assist with recall and patient communication efforts Qualifications Minimum 1-2 years of dental front office experience preferred Experience with Open Dental software strongly preferred Knowledge of dental insurance verification, claims processing, and collections Strong communication and customer service skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Proficiency with standard computer applications and office technology Associates degree preferred; equivalent dental office experience will be considered in place of a degree Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to providing outstanding dental care while supporting your professional growth!
