We treat our team members like family and are looking for an energetic, professional Front Desk Receptionist to join us in delivering an exceptional experience. Job Summary We are seeking a friendly, highly organized, and motivated Front Desk Receptionist to serve as the welcoming face of our team. In this role, you will manage patient flow, coordinate scheduling, and maintain seamless administrative operations. The ideal candidate possesses excellent communication skills, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and loves interacting with people daily.
Key Responsibilities Patient Hospitality :
Greet patients warmly upon arrival, manage check-in/check-out processes, and ensure a comfortable waiting experience.
Communication Management :
Answer, screen, and route incoming phone calls efficiently while answering patient inquiries.
Appointment Scheduling :
Coordinate and manage complex scheduling for hygiene and clinical appointments to maintain productive daily flows.
Patient Records :
Create, update, and maintain precise digital patient charts, privacy paperwork, and registration details.
Financial Duties :
Process patient check-outs, collect copays, issue receipts, and manage day-of financial ledger balancing.
Insurance & Billing :
Verify dental insurance benefits, submit pre-authorizations, and assist with standard billing administrative tasks.
Qualifications & Skills Education :
High school diploma or equivalent GED required.
Experience :
Minimum of 1-2 years of reception, front desk, or medical/dental office experience (Dental environment preferred).
Software Skills :
Proficiency with computers and dental management software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or Open Dental) is a strong plus.
Core Competencies :
Exceptional verbal communication, a high level of empathy, and strong problem-solving skills under fast-paced situations.
Organization :
Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously without compromising quality.
