Medical Receptionist Southwoods Health - Calcutta, OH About the Role Southwoods Health is expanding! Our Calcutta location now offers a full range of services—from Primary Care, Orthopaedics and Pain Management. We are looking for a professional Receptionist to help us provide high-quality, local care to our community.

Essential Duties Patient Arrival:

Manage registration and check-in, verify insurance, and collect co-pays with a welcoming demeanor.

Patient Departure:

Facilitate check-out, provide post-visit instructions, and schedule follow-up appointments.

Communication:

Handle phone triage, route inquiries, and relay provider instructions to patients.

Clinical Collaboration:

Work closely with the clinical team to ensure a smooth patient flow.

Compliance:

Maintain office standards in line with regulatory agencies (OSHA, ODH, TJC) and support patient rights.

Qualifications & Requirements Education:

Training in medical terminology or business office activities preferred.

Experience:

Previous medical receptionist experience is a plus.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.

Professionalism:

Strong communication skills and a cooperative, professional attitude.

Organization:

Excellent problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment. Schedule Full-Time (Monday-Friday)

Weekly Rotation:
