This practice has three locations, White Oak, Madeira, and Anderson. While some travel may be required, this position will be primarily at our Anderson location. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a welcoming demeanor. As the first point of contact for patients and visitors, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth office operations, providing exceptional patient service, and maintaining accurate dental records. This position offers an engaging environment where attention to detail, organizational skills, and a proactive attitude are highly valued. Duties Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a positive first impression while managing multi-line phone systems with professionalism and courtesy. Schedule appointments efficiently using dental scheduling software. Verify insurance coverage and perform insurance verification to facilitate smooth billing processes. Collect patient information, update medical records, and review documentation for accuracy in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Assist with patient intake procedures, including collecting co-pays and explaining treatment plans clearly. Manage medical records filing, data entry, and documentation review to ensure completeness and accuracy of patient files. Knowledge of HIPAA compliance standards to ensure confidentiality and security of protected health information (PHI). From $19.00 per hour
