  • Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Medical Front Desk Receptionist to join our Emerald Pediatrics family.
In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while managing a variety of tasks. Your energetic approach will help ensure smooth positive patient experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems, and a solid understanding front desk operations . This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to quality healthcare delivery in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and efficiently manage check-in and check-out procedures using EMR system. Verify insurance coverage and perform insurance eligibility checks. Schedule patient appointments, collect information and register new patients, and other clerical duties as assigned. Answer multi-line phone systems professionally while providing excellent patient service and addressing inquiries promptly. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy. Skills Experience with EMR/EHR systems. Strong knowledge of medical terminology. Proven ability in insurance verification. Excellent communication skills with professional phone etiquette. Prior medical office experience. Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
