Clinic About Everwell Everwell is a patient-centered medical clinic located in Tulsa, Oklahoma, committed to delivering compassionate, high-quality care to our community. We are looking for a warm, organized, and professional Medical Receptionist to join our front office team and serve as the first point of contact for our patients. Position Summary The Medical Receptionist plays a vital role in ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for every patient who walks through our doors. This individual is responsible for managing front desk operations, supporting clinical staff, and maintaining an organized and efficient office environment. The ideal candidate is personable, detail-oriented, and thrives in a dynamic healthcare setting. Key Responsibilities Greet and check in patients in a courteous and professional manner Answer and direct incoming phone calls, take messages, and respond to patient inquiries Verify patient insurance eligibility Accurately collect and enter patient demographic and insurance information into the electronic health record (EHR) system Submit medical records as requested by payers Maintain and update patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations Prepare and organize referral documentation as needed Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flow throughout the day Manage incoming and outgoing email, mail, faxes, and correspondence Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front office and waiting area Assist with prior authorizations and referral coordination as needed Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Minimum of one year of experience in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems preferred Knowledge of medical terminology, and insurance verification preferred Strong verbal and written communication skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to multitask Professional, compassionate demeanor with a patient-first attitude Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality requirements preferred What We Offer Competitive compensation commensurate with experience Supportive and team-oriented work environment Opportunity to grow within an expanding clinic Paid time off and holidays Health benefits (as applicable) How to Apply Interested candidates are encouraged to submit their resume to lane@growthpointmso.com .
