  • Temporary, Contract We are looking for a detail-oriented Medical Front Desk Specialist to support daily patient-facing operations for a Contract position in Eugene, Oregon.
This role serves as a key point of contact for patients, helping create an organized and welcoming front office experience while coordinating appointment flow and administrative support. The ideal candidate is comfortable handling scheduling, check-in activities, and routine clerical tasks in a medical setting.
Responsibilities:
Welcome patients upon arrival, confirm appointment details, and guide them through the check-in process efficiently. Coordinate provider calendars by arranging, updating, and confirming patient appointments based on office needs. Manage front office communications by answering calls, responding to routine inquiries, and directing messages appropriately. Maintain accurate patient information in electronic health record systems and update documentation as needed. Support daily reception activities such as verifying basic intake details, preparing visit-related paperwork, and organizing records. Assist with administrative workflows that keep the medical office running smoothly and aligned with patient service expectations. Experience working in a medical front office, clinic reception, or similar healthcare administrative setting. Ability to schedule patient appointments accurately while balancing changing priorities throughout the day. Working knowledge of patient check-in procedures and general receptionist responsibilities. Familiarity with basic medical terminology used in outpatient or clinical environments. Comfort using EHR systems and standard office software for data entry and record maintenance. Strong communication skills and a detail-oriented, patient-focused approach to front desk service.
