We are seeking a dynamic professional to join our Business Office Team in a fast-paced, supportive, and team-oriented environment. Our Front Office is the first point of contact for patients and plays a critical role in delivering an exceptional patient experience. The Business Office is responsible for revenue cycle management, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and excellent communication across all financial and administrative processes. Position Summary We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and compassionate professional to serve in a dual-role position supporting both Front Desk operations and Medical Billing/Revenue Cycle functions. The ideal candidate is flexible, organized, and able to confidently manage patient-facing responsibilities while also handling billing, coding support, insurance follow-up, and accounts receivable tasks. Key Responsibilities Front Desk / Patient Services Greet patients courteously and professionally as the first point of contact Answer and manage a multi-line phone system Schedule patient appointments using an electronic scheduling system Collect co-pays and process patient payments Maintain confidentiality and uphold HIPAA compliance Communicate patient needs effectively with clinical staff Provide backup front desk coverage as needed Business Office / Billing Functions Verify insurance eligibility and benefits Enter and post charges, payments, and deposits Monitor unpaid claims and follow up with insurance companies Research and resolve claim denials and billing discrepancies Prepare and submit appeals for denied claims Respond to patient and insurance inquiries regarding accounts Maintain accurate and complete billing and financial records Support revenue cycle management processes Required Qualifications At least 2 + years of experience in a medical office setting At least 2 + years of experience in medical billing, coding, or accounts receivable Familiarity with insurance verification and claims processing Strong customer service skills (in-person and phone-based) Working knowledge of HIPAA compliance Ability to empathize and remain professional in stressful situations Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Preferred Qualifications Experience with Gmail, Microsoft Word/Excel, and Google Docs Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Medical Billing certification (a plus) Essential Skills & Abilities Positive, proactive, and self-motivated attitude Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Comfort working in emotionally sensitive or high-stress patient interactions Eagerness to learn and grow within a healthcare business office Compensation & Benefits We offer a competitive salary commensurate with experience and a comprehensive benefits package, including: Medical and Dental insurance 401(k) + matching Paid Time Off (PTO) Paid holidays Supportive, team-oriented work environment Opportunities for professional growth and development If you meet the qualifications and are interested in joining our team, please email your resume and a cover letter explaining why you are a strong fit for this position.
