Monday-Friday Job Summary We are a private endocrinology clinic seeking an experienced, professional, and dependable Medical Receptionist to join our team. The Medical Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for our patients and is responsible for providing excellent customer service while ensuring efficient front office operations. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in a medical office, be comfortable using electronic medical records (EMR), possess strong organizational skills, and demonstrate exceptional attention to detail. Responsibilities Greet and check in patients in a courteous and professional manner Verify and update patient demographic and insurance information Collect copays, deductibles, and outstanding balances at the time of service Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments Answer incoming telephone calls and route messages appropriately Process incoming faxes, medical records, and other correspondence Scan and upload documents into the electronic medical record system Verify insurance eligibility and benefits Maintain accurate patient records Assist with referrals, records requests, and other administrative tasks Ensure compliance with HIPAA and patient confidentiality requirements Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front office environment Required Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of medical receptionist experience required Electronic Medical Records (EMR) experience required High school diploma or equivalent Strong computer and data entry skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Professional telephone etiquette Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Dependable attendance and punctuality Preferred Qualifications Experience with insurance verification and eligibility Knowledge of medical terminology Experience with eClinicalWorks (eCW) preferred Experience working in a specialty medical practice Schedule Full-time Monday through Friday No weekends Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Paid time off Paid holidays HSA Supportive and collaborative work environment About Our Practice Our clinic specializes in endocrinology, osteoporosis, thyroid disorders, and metabolic bone disease.
