Medical Receptionist/ Scheduler

SCHEDULER/RECEPTIONIST - THE DALLES, OR

Columbia Gorge Surgery Center (CGSC) is seeking an experienced MEDICAL Scheduler/Receptionist for a part time position.

BILINGUAL

a plus CGSC is the only Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) in the Columbia Gorge area, and we serve patients from all over North-central Oregon. Since our opening in 2010, we have performed over 5000 surgical procedures in the areas of orthopedics, ophthalmology and podiatry. We are licensed by the State of Oregon, certified by Medicare, and accredited by AAAHC. Our vision is to be the #1 choice for same-day surgery in the Columbia Gorge!

Essential Functions:

Friendly, outgoing, team oriented and professional Experience with medical insurance verification a must Excellent phone, computer and communication skills

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED certificate Training, courses and/or experience in medical or surgical setting, medical terminology a must

Preferred Requirements:

at least 1 year MEDICAL reception experience ASC experience preferred Strong knowledge of computers i.e. word, excel, billing systems
