Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling back and front office communications, ensuring a welcoming environment for patients, rooming patients, and maintaining accurate medical records. Responsibilities Greet patients and manage their check-in and check-out processes. Answer phone calls promptly, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette while addressing patient inquiries. Room patients while ensuring patient flow, assist patients as needed. Schedule appointments and manage the calendar for healthcare providers efficiently. Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with privacy regulations. Process medical collections and handle billing inquiries as needed. Utilize Electronic Health Records to manage patient information effectively. Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, answering phone Collaborate with healthcare staff to ensure smooth operations within the medical office. Skills Strong phone etiquette and communication skills for effective patient interaction. Familiarity with medical terminology and medical records management a plus but not required Excellent customer service skills to enhance patient experience. Proficiency in using phone systems and electronic health records. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks. This Medical Receptionist position is an essential role within our practice, contributing to the overall efficiency of our healthcare services while ensuring that patients receive the highest level of care from their first point of contact. Medical experience not required.
