Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and professional Front Desk Receptionist to join our Medical Specialists Office. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for our patients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks efficiently. This role requires a highly organized individual with strong communication skills, familiarity with medical office procedures, and proficiency in electronic health records. The Front Desk Receptionist will play a vital role in ensuring smooth clinic operations, accurate documentation, and positive patient interactions.
MUST HAVE PREVIOUS FRONT DESK MEDICAL EXPERIENCE.
Responsibilities:
Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a welcoming environment while managing check-in and check-out processes. Verify patient insurance coverage, perform insurance eligibility checks, and handle insurance verification procedures. Collect all co pays and any outstanding balances when checking patient in. Schedule appointments accurately using EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems using eClinicalWorks. Maintain accurate medical records by updating patient information, and reviewing documentation for completeness and accuracy. Support clinic operations by managing medical administrative support tasks and maintaining office supplies. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding patient information and handling sensitive data responsibly. Excellent customer service skills combined with professional phone etiquette and organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
